Helping Patrons File for Unemployment

Unemployment in Florida reached an all-time high in March 2010. How does this affect libraries? The need to file unemployment claims online is creating an overwhelming demand for public access computing at Florida public libraries. Join us for a guided tour of the unemployment compensation process led by Audra Wiggins, Michael Mills and Diane McIntyre. Learn what information your patrons need to have available during the online process, general information about questions claimants are asked, how long it might take to fill out an application, and more.
